The world seems to be a vast place filled with untold stories, unfound treasures, and endless adventures. From the cold lands of Antarctica, to the deepness of the mysterious ocean, the possibilities of encountering new places and knowledge is infinite. Unless, you’re like me. I’ve traveled to all parts of this Earth, and explored every crevice of it for centuries. I’ve witnessed astounding advancements in technology, the development of many religions, and the exacerbating cruelness of the human race.

There isn’t much I haven’t seen, experienced, or explored during my time here, but there is one thing that I long to see again. To feel once again. It’s been so long that I can’t begin to describe how it once felt to feel the comforting warmth of the sun. I only remember how the midnight sky would dance in hues of pink, orange, and blue as it brought forth dawn. I also remember the sky stained in purple, blue, and magenta as it fell at dusk, replaced by the faint glow of the moon.

For centuries I have longed for it, craved it, until this very moment. Once again I bare witness to the rise of morning with anticipation filling my chest. Warmth begins to blanket my skin, a feeling I haven’t felt in over four hundred years. Joy spreads throughout my soul as my eyes squint towards the golden sphere ascending further into the sky. This is it. The only feeling I’ve wanted throughout this immortal life trapped in darkness and cold.
